About Us

Who we are, where we come from, and where we're headed as a church family

Who we are

Here at Vine Community Church we believe that Scripture is the inspired word of God and there's no better way to get closer to Him than by learning what it says. So that's our goal, to become more like Him by getting to know Him better.

Where we come from

Vine Community Church was launched on September 1, 2021 and we're SO excited to see what God has in store.

Our Vision

Our vision is to be a church rooted in Christ, to see disciples growing in Christ, and to be a people who bear the fruit of Christ.

Our Mission

Our mission is to glorify God by the regular teaching and preaching of the Word of God and the Gospel of Jesus Christ, serving in community, and supporting one another through prayer and fellowship.

Our Core Values

Expository Preaching and Teaching of the Bible and Gospel

Parts of the Bible can be messy, confusing, and difficult; but they all point us to the creator of the universe and the one who redeemed us through His death. For this reason, we like to preach directly through books of the Bible during our Sunday morning worship services. Chapter by chapter, verse by verse. This helps us to take the whole counsel of God in context and the manner it was intended.

Robust Christian Education

We believe one of the best ways to emulate Christ and serve him well is to learn more about him. That’s why we put a premium on robust discussion in our Bible Studies, Community Groups, and classes.

Authentic Community

Community is crucial. We are made to be in relationship with others. Vine Community Church seeks to be a community of those who are in bondage, those who desire to be free and those who have been freed. All are welcomed and valued in the community at Vine Community Church. We do this through community groups, corporate worship, and intentional fellowship times designed to foster Christian relationships among our body.

Regular Corporate Worship

Since the beginning, worship of God has been a cornerstone in the life of those who follow Him. God created the universe, set the planets into motion, and sent his son to die for you and I. At Vine Community Church we want to worship in a way that brings glory to Him and we do that through our regular corporate worship services. During these services everything we do is intentionally designed to bring glory to Him while edifying the congregation.

Missions Focus

In Matthew 22 Jesus is asked “which is the greatest commandment in the law?” (v. 37) to which he responded “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself” (vv. 38-39). At Vine Community Church we endeavor to love our neighbors in need, both near and far, through service and support; all to fulfill our calling from Jesus outlined in the Great Commission (Matt. 28:18-20).

What does all this mean for YOU?

For you, that means that we are here to serve you in any way we can. Each one of us comes to Christ broken; no matter what our standing is in the church. You are ALWAYS welcome to join us and it is our prayer that each and every person who walks through the VCC doors feels welcomed and gets closer to God with each visit.
